The “Actions” panel on the Work Order page is used to save your changes to the Work Order. It is also used to share the Work Order with your customers as either a Estimate or an Invoice.
To save any changes to a work order:
- After attaching a customer, a vehicle and at least one line item to the Work Order you’ll want to click the “Update Work Order” button. This will save the changes that have been applied to the work order so that you do not loose your progress and update subtotals for the work order. Helpful Hint: The payments panel and the subtotals will not be updated until the “Update Work Order” button is clicked.
To cancel any changes to a work order:
- If you realize that you’ve made a mistake while editing a Work Order, you can cancel those changes by clicking the “Cancel” button to remove any of the changes applied to the active Work Order.

Emailing an Estimate to a Customer
To email the work order to the customer as an estimate click the “Email Estimate button.
Printing an Estimate
To print the work order and share a physical copy with a customer as an estimate click the “Print Estimate” button.
Emailing an Invoice to a Customer
To email the work order to the customer as an invoice click the “Email Invoice button.
Printing an Invoice
To print the work order and share a physical copy with a customer as an invoice click the “Print Invoice” button.
